Industrial Medics provide primary emergency and non-emergency healthcare for all workers on-site. Your clinical duties can range from patient assessments and history taking providing patient transport, as well as treating and preventing injuries and illnesses.

Responsibilities :

  • Arrive fit for duty and comply with all of SFC’s current policies and procedure.
  • Conduct Pre-Job/Post Job Inspections on MTC’s and maintaining all SFC equipment as outlines by SFC
  • Operate SFC vehicles in a safe and courteous manner while traveling to and from locations and making sure the unit is clean at all times, especially after returning to the shop
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism while in the field and working with SFC clients & fellow field staff
  • Complete and submit daily paperwork, such as service invoices, emergency response plans etc., in a clear and accurate manner
  • Keep in constant communication with our dispatch team to notify them of any changes or updated to current jobs or locations
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and on-site orientations and keep an accurate head count while on location
  • Maintain and keep a clean and organized MTC while working in the field and including after returning to shop
  • Work within your designated scope of practice, as per current provincial protocols while providing medical care

Requirements & skills :

  • Occupational First Aid Level III (OFAIII), Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Primary Care Paramedic (PCP)
  • Registered & in good standing with Alberta College of Paramedics
  • Standard Oilfield Tickets (H2S Alive, Standard First Aid with CPR)
  • Superior will provide company specific TDG and WHIMIS tickets
  • Valid Class 5 Operator’s license (NO GDL’s)
  • CSO (Common Safety Orientation)
  • Previous oilfield experience would be an asset-willing the train the right candidate
